Erick Chall

            Erick was raised in the Clearwater area, and started his tennis career playing on his high school’s tennis team. Following graduation from Clearwater High School, Erick went to college at the Florida State University. While working on his degree, he was able to walk on to the Florida State Tennis Team. Erick gained his first experience working for Killearn Country Club as a Tennis Professional while achieving his degree in Sports Management from Florida State. Upon graduation from Florida State University, he made his way back to the Tampa Bay Area to work for Seminole Lake Country Club as the Tennis Director. Erick left Seminole Lake in 2005 to start his own business, Clearwater Tennis Academy. He had great success for a number of years but decided to return to Seminole Lake in 2013.  After returning to Seminole Lake, Erick worked to revitalize the tennis program and develop new approaches to tennis training. He has over 20 years of experience as a Tennis Tournament Director including a Wild Card Division of a Professional Tennis Event & Frenchy’s Gumbo Classic Charity Tournament. He has a great passion for tennis and loves to teach. His teaching programs teach players how to rise to the highest level through a strong work ethic and determination. Players learn the importance of combining skill with athletic endurance and strength.
